Laurie began her career as a Century 21 real estate agent in 1996 and her passion for the job continues to grow. At the root of the business is people: getting to know clients to help them find the perfect new home, while assisting others in selling their home to accomplish their goals. She enjoys the creative side of real estate, the strategies involved in getting a deal together and thinking outside the box. After 24 years in the industry, the excitement of putting up a “sold” sign never gets old. In addition to being a REALTOR®, Laurie is also a managing partner & broker at Century 21 Westman Realty Ltd. In that capacity, she enjoys helping the C21 sales associates, working with the dedicated support staff and guiding new realtors as they join the team. “I love that the learning never ends,” Laurie said. “There are good days and bad days, but you learn from those experiences! This career can be demanding, but it is also flexible, which I appreciate.” Laurie grew up on a second generation mixed cattle and grain farm in southwestern Manitoba, which instilled a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed. She recognizes that you need to do the work, and do it well, to reap the benefits. As the saying goes, “you reap what you sow.” Laurie has been married to Kevin for 25 years, and they have been blessed with three children. She is proud to be part of Brandon and the greater Westman community and feels Brandon has everything a family needs & more!
